The Perfect Human Face presents Ruth Crilly

Meet the beautiful Ruth Crilly – a british fashion model, writer and beauty insider. She has been an international fashion model for over ten years and is still working for brilliant brands, shooting in exciting locations and generally feeling very lucky to have such a great job.
Past and present ad campaigns include Swatch, Olay, Myla Lingerie, Patrick Cox, River Island and Sunsilk and I have appeared in editorials for magazines including Elle, Vogue, Glamour, Grazia, Cosmopolitan – both in the UK and all over the world. She started modelling in 2001 after spending two years at the University of Birmingham studying law. It was a bit of a risk for her, but thankfully all turned out well! She didn’t ever go back to my law studies, but decided to do a degree in Literature and in July 2008 she graduated with a First Class Honours Degree. She is a bit of an education addict if truth be known – She has always some course or another on the go! She is currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway and juggling my various commitments, including A Model Recommends and freelance work. Visit her as www.modelrecommends.com

    1. I know. She's ok if she keeps her gob shut tho. Too freaking skinny. Too old.

  4. She's ok, seems to have an air of entitlement about her. However, she is not royalty. These YouTube-elebrities do depend on subscribers for their ratings, free merchandise and making money. However, some of them have stretched their 15 minutes of fame a little too long. There is also a click of these UK girls that all have channels, all do makeup, only distinguishable by their personalities. Some of these girls are: Ruth Crilly, The Pixiwoo sisters,(who have even developed a channel for their MOTHER!) Caroline Hirons, Charlotte Tilbury, Lisa Eldridge, Alexa Chung, Sali Hughes and others. They never critique each other negatively, contradict each other or vie for the same item at the same time. They are often seen together and appear in each other's video.
On the US side of the pond, we have some truly ridiculous insanely unprofessional brats who feed off of the pre pubescent and aspiring millennial do nothing. These girls are infamous, competitive, cut throat, nasty, and dirty fighters. Some of these are: Carli Bybel, Jaclyn Hill, Nickkie Tutorials, Desi Perkins, and the vicious Latin Diva herself, Nicole Gurriero. I HIGHLY advise avoiding these pompous 20 somethings. They lack experience, charm, friendliness, sincerity to name just a few. They would be the "mean" girls in your school. Catty, self serving, full of themselves. I unsubscribed from all. Now I watch the Chanel YouTube, Get the Gloss, Wayne Goss, Make-up Atelier Paris, Vogue, Sephora and one very nice Goo Roo Beauty. I always try to find instructional video's by Mary Grenwell, a REAL pro :)
